Bully Dog RFI Cold Air Intakes
The Bully Dog RFI (Rapid Flow Induction) Kit is an advanced airflow induction built to increase the engine's ability to breath. By replacing the restrictive stock air box and filter assemblies, the Bully Dog RFI cold air intake increases horsepower, torque, fuel efficiency (improvement will vary), and decreases exhaust gas temperatures.
By removing the stock air box, replacing it with a new and improved metal heat shield, and using a conical air filter, you can maximize the air filter cleaning area and allow the engine to breathe easier and produce more horsepower. All of the Bully Dog RFI inductions use a lifetime reusable 4-layer cotton gauze filter. This design, combined with deep pleats, make these filters ideal for high performance use.
This induction also works very well in conjunction with Bully Dog's computer tuning performance upgrades such their Triple Dog GT, PMT, and 4-bank chips. The computer tuning upgrades will increase the amount of fuel going into the motor and will therefore increase the need for more air. The installation of this system is very easy and requires only very basic hand tools. Installation can generally be done in 20 minutes or less.
